First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received today new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Serbia Yoo Dae Jong.
Dacic noted that the relations between the two countries are very good and expressed our willingness to intensify them in all areas.
Our two countries mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations next year, which will be an excellent opportunity for mutual visits at the highest political level, he said.
Dacic pointed out that Korean companies are welcome in Serbia, and expressed satisfaction with bilateral economic cooperation.
He said that Serbia appreciates the moderate positioning of Seoul in relation to the issue of Kosovo-Metohija, especially in the light of Pristina's unilateral moves regarding membership attempts in international organisations, expressing the expectation that the Republic of Korea will maintain such a position in the future.
