The officials highlighted the common interest in strengthening economic, cultural, educational and other forms of cooperation, with a special emphasis on the possibility of a more intensive investment presence of Australia in Serbia.
They particularly pointed out the potential for further improvement of cooperation provided by the numerous Serbian diaspora in Australia.
The First Deputy Prime Minister stressed the importance of celebrating the 100th anniversary of Serbia and Australia since the end of the First World War, whose tragic consequences were felt by both countries.
