According to him, the foreign trade exchange last year amounted to about €1 billion euros, with the expectation that economic cooperation will further develop in the future.
At the same time, he expressed gratitude to Austria for supporting Serbia's European integration and for its initiative to open as many chapters in the negotiations with the EU as possible during its presidency of the Union.
The First Deputy Prime Minister emphasised that today's signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Academy for Public Administration of the Republic of Serbia and the Federal Academy of Public Administration of the Republic of Austria is of great importance.
Speaking about the problem of Kosovo, he said that Serbia is interested in resolving all regional open issues, regional stability, peace and mutual reconciliation, with the remark that resolving these issues can be acceptable only if the interests of all are respected.
