First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic attended today a formal opening to traffic of the remaining section of the Banjaluka-Doboj motorway “9 January” from Drugovici to Prnjavor, which is 25 kilometres long.
Dacic stated that Serbia, as a guarantor of the Dayton Accords, does not interfere in the elections in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Serbia does not meddle in who will vote for who, but we do meddle in the survival of Republika Srpska and the rights of the Serbian people in this area, he underlined and added that Serbia will not stay with its arm crossed if someone tries to destroy Republika Srpska.
The Serbian people has never been a factor of instability, but a factor of stability and it will continue to be that, he said.
President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said that today is an important day for the entire Republika Srpska because a motorway is opened for the present and future generations.
