The Serbian government adopted today the Decision on the Amendments to the 2018 Financial Plan of the Serbian Health Insurance Fund, which refers to the increase in funds earmarked for the treatment of rare diseases for the year 2018 and to the financing of expenditures for the medicines, aids and devices issued on prescription, and for sick leaves of the insurees.

Additional funds in the amount of RSD 500 million have been set aside from the state budget for the treatment of patients with rare diseases, and RSD 3,600 million for financing expenditures for the medicines, aids and devices issued on prescription, and for sick leaves of the persons insured at the Serbian Health Insurance Fund.
