The Serbian government adopted today the bills on foreign trade, takeovers of joint stock companies, lawyers’ practice, and changes and amendments to the Law on trade in goods, services in trade of goods, and inspections.
The government also adopted the Decree on the way of establishing prices of the most popular cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos, and other tobacco products.
Also as part of the session, the government adopted the Decree on the procedure and methods of restructuring of companies and other legal persons as well as the Decree on the sale of capital and property through public auctions and the Decree on the sale of capital and property through public tenders.
The government also decided to set up the following working groups to prepare a negotiation team for talks on a Stabilisation and Association Agreement with the EU: the working group on goods, the working group on agriculture, the working group on services, the working group on the free movement of capital and financial cooperation, the working group on the harmonisation of laws, and the working group on the preamble and political cooperation.
The government gave consent to the programme to encourage hiring and revive production in Kragujevac, Bor, and Vranje in 2005.
The government also adopted the Conclusion suggesting the Serbian parliament choose the best bidder in a tender for external auditor of the annual accounts of the Serbian budget and the Conclusion on the use of funds from the Fund for Kosovo-Metohija.
Also as part of the session, the government relived of duty the Serbian Public Defender.
