First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met today with OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Ambassador Lamberto Zannier, and highlighted the commitment of Serbia to the improvement of the position of minorities.
Dacic pointed out that the institution of the OSCE High Commissioner for National Minorities is of great importance to the Republic of Serbia, because our country is committed in principle to improving the position of minorities, both in Serbia and the region.
The meeting dealt with the position of national minorities in Serbia and the Serbian minority in the region, and both side voiced hope that Serbia's cooperation with the Office of the High Commissioner would continue successfully, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
