Intensifying cooperation with Belgium in all areas

Belgrade, 22 August 2018

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and Ambassador of Belgium to Serbia Leo D’aes confirmed in today's meeting that the bilateral relations of the two countries are good and that there is a possibility of intensifying cooperation in all areas.

Dacic, who received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium on a farewell visit, expressed his gratitude to D’aes for successful cooperation, as well as for his personal contribution to the improvement of bilateral relations between Serbia and Belgium.

The First Deputy Prime Minister stressed that during his term of office, political dialogue was intensified.

He also expressed his gratitude for the support Belgium provides to Serbia in the process of European integration.

Daes said that Belgium will continue to provide such support in the future, and conveyed gratitude to Dacic for excellent and close cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
