Activities for further development of cooperation with Russia discussed

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic spoke today with Russian Ambassador to Belgrade Alexander Chepurin on the activities and plans for further development of bilateral cooperation in the coming period.

They particularly talked in the context of the forthcoming visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Republic of Serbia, as well as visiting a spokesperson and director of the Department of Information and Press of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova.
Dacic expressed his gratitude for the strong and consistent support of the Russian Federation for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia.
At today's meeting, both sides expressed mutual satisfaction with the cooperation they have had in the past with international organisations.
