The main goal of the National Programme for Rural Development 2018-2020 is to raise the competitiveness of registered agricultural producers and support the employment of young people in rural areas.
By adopting this programme, legal conditions for the use of prescribed incentives for the food sector, restructuring and market development, improvement of rural development and the environment are realised.

The objective of the Strategy for the Prevention and Control of HIV Infection and AIDS is the prevention of these and other sexually transmitted diseases, as well as the provision of treatment and support for the illness.
Also, the Strategy deals with the protection from discrimination and the promotion of the human rights of people living with HIV. The focus of this program will be to improve the quality of life and reduce mortality in AIDS patients, but also tuberculosis and hepatitis B and C, as well as the timely treatment of children born to mothers infected with HIV.
The Serbian government has decided to award a cash prize of €20,000 to each gold medal winner at the recently held European Water Polo Championship in Barcelona.
Besides the Serbian national team members, the prize in the same amount will be given to the coach of the water polo team of Serbia Dejan Savic.
