Decree on programme of renovation of facilities damaged by floods, hail adopted

Belgrade, 17 July 2018

The Serbian government adopted the Decree on determining the state programme for the renovation of stated-owned facilities for public use in the field of education, health and social protection, which were damaged or destroyed by floods and hail in May and June 2018.

The government has earmarked funds in the amount of RSD 400,000,000 for the local self-governments in which there an emergency situation due to rainfall and hail and in which it is urgently necessary to implement the rehabilitation programme or the construction of new facilities for public use.

The government adopted the Decree on Determining the State Programme for Infrastructure Rehabilitation, which is under the jurisdiction of the local self-government unit damaged or destroyed due to the flood and hail in May and June 2018.

The government of Serbia has provided funds in the amount of RSD 1,650,500,000 for the state programme for reconstruction of utility infrastructure, bridges, second-tier roads and clear-up of landslide on certain roads.

At today's session, the Serbian government adopted the Programme of allocation and use of funds for the prise competition for teachers of elementary schools "Digital Time" in the school year 2018/2019.

The Strategy for the Development of the Information Society in the Republic of Serbia until 2020, the area of e-education has been identified as a strategic priority.
