First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and Director-General of the Foreign Ministry of Israel Yuval Rotem noted today that bilateral relations of the two countries are very good, which also applies to traditional ties of the Serbian and Jewish peoples.

Dacic and Rotem expressed mutual interest in maintaining political dialogue at all levels, which would have a positive impact on the improvement of economic cooperation and investments – especially in the application of new technologies in the field of economy and agriculture, tourism and trade, and also cooperation in the field of culture and education.
The two officials also exchanged opinions on the situation in the regions of the Western Balkans and the Middle East and on other international issues.
They concluded that it is necessary to regularly maintain bilateral and multilateral consultation, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
