The government sent a call to educational institutions, non-governmental organisations, institutes, clusters and companies to apply for training for junior programers in the framework of the retraining program in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Nis, Zrenjanin, Subotica, Valjevo, Kragujevac, Cacak, Uzice and Novi Pazar.
The call is available on the website of the Public Procurement Administration under the code 1941491 and on the website of the National Employment Service and will be open until 12 July 2018.
In the new IT retraining cycle, it is planned that 775 citizens are trained in IT training.
Students will be able to learn the basics of programming languages Java, JavaScript, PHP, or .Net framework in courses.
Also, students will have the opportunity to learn about other programming languages and databases they need to acquire enough knowledge for employment.
In addition to the high quality of teachers and educational programmes, trainers are expected to provide practices for most students.
As a condition for competition, it is necessary for trainers to have an agreement on cooperation with IT companies, which will also show IT companies that they need a cadre that is being trained on retraining.
So far, more than 50 IT companies have expressed interest in recruiting and accepting the practices of retraining participants.
