The Serbian government adopted at today's session the Bill on central register of real owners, which provides a public, unique, central and electronic database of natural persons that are the real owners of entities registered in the Republic of Serbia.
The main goal of this law is to improve the existing system of detecting and preventing money laundering and terrorist financing and to harmonise domestic legislation with all international standards in this field.
The government today adopted the Strategy of development of new generation networks by 2023, whose main goal is to provide infrastructure for the development of the Unified Digital Market in the Republic of Serbia, in line with the strategic framework of the European Union in this area.
The Strategy will define measures with which the state administration authorities will enable the implementation of new technologies, ensure availability of electronic communications infrastructure, and expand the range of services that can be offered to residential and business users.
