Electronic extension of validity of health insurance

The Serbian government stated that as of today the self-employed holders of public health insurance will be able to extend the validity of the health insurance electronically.
Thus the government fulfilled its promise and freed almost all insured from going to counters of the Serbian Health Insurance Fund.
This provision covers entrepreneurs, farmers, priests, religious officials, foreign pensioners, or those who receive a pension or invalidity allowance from a country with which there is no bilateral agreement on social insurance, independent artists, employees with natural persons (who do not have tax identification number) and those who perform jobs under an agreement on the exchange of experts or an agreement on international technical cooperation.
The electronic extension of validity of public health insurance also includes members of their families insured by them.
