The Serbian government made a decision to extend the work of the Council for the Rights of the Child, whose mandate expires in January this year, and which is one of the most important national mechanisms for the realisation of the rights of the child, whose work is supported by the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child.
The government also passed the Conclusion on accepting the Report on the current situation and further activities on the rehabilitation and restoration of the Serbian military cemetery at Zejtinlik in Thessaloniki and the Serbian military cemetery in Sofia, since in 2019 it will be the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War.
This Conclusion enables carrying out the necessary activities on the rehabilitation and restoration of these memorials.
