Bill amending Law on Citizenship adopted

The government of the Republic of Serbia adopted at today's session the Bill amending the Law on Citizenship of the Republic of Serbia, which creates the legal basis for the centralised management of citizenship data.
The bill will, through the Central Registry, enable citizens to obtain a certificate of citizenship anywhere on the territory of the Republic of Serbia regardless of where they are registered in the records.
Competent authorities are already implementing activities that will increase efficiency in practice, save time for both citizens and employees.
The Bill on Postal Services has been adopted, which provides a greater degree of protection for the users of these services, as well as the responsibility of postal operator and sender.
The adoption of this law regulates the postal services market, harmonization with the legislation of the European Union, the acts of the World Postal Union and requirements of the World Trade Organization.
