Government passes decision on one-off aid to pensioners

The Serbian government passed a decision today to make a one-off payment to pensioners in the amount of RSD 5,000, in accordance with the government's efforts to protect their living standards and improve economic security.
This decision covers all beneficiaries of pensions, users of the temporary disability compensation for workers of the second and third category of disability, or residual work capacity.
The same amount will be given to disabled children – the users of temporary compensation who are registered at the Serbian Pension and Disability Insurance Fund up to the date of 27 October 2017.
The one-off payment begins on 6 November 2017.
