In a conversation with Gottemoeller, the two officials exchanged views on the political and security situation in the region, as well as on current issues of cooperation under the auspices of the Partnership for Peace Programme and the Serbian Army's cooperation with the KFOR forces.
Vulin reiterated that Serbia is not interested in becoming a member of the NATO alliance, nor any other military alliance, that it will continue with the policy of military neutrality, but that it will take care to continue its cooperation with the NATO alliance through the Partnership for Peace.
In a separate meeting with Assistant Secretary General for Defence Investment Camille Grand, Vulin conveyed the message of our country's commitment in the process of normalising the civilian air traffic over the Balkans.
He pointed to the necessity of continuing talks aimed at finding a mutually acceptable solution in the said process, which should be based on United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 and the Military Technical Agreement.
