Branko Ruzic, left, and Sam Fabrizi
Ruzic emphasised that through these reforms we are not only changing the system, but also the mentality of people, underlining that public administration reform is one of the three pillars of the European expansion policy.
The Serbian government is aware of the importance of the reforms of state and local government and public services, as well as the positive consequences they have on the quality of services provided to citizens and the economy, but also on the rationalisation of budgetary costs, the Minister said.
Public administration reform is a very complex but necessary process in Serbia, as well as in EU Member States. It aims to increase the efficiency and transparency of public administration, strengthen the confidence of citizens of Serbia, the private sector and foreign investors, as well as for the sustainability of finances, Fabrizi explained.
