The office will be headed by Mihailo Jovanovic, who has 20 years of rich professional experience in Telekom and Posta Srbije, where he was in the Board of Directors responsible for information technology, electronic communications and development.
He was also a member and coordinator of the Executive Board of Posta Srbije and contributed to achieving the best business results in the history of Posta Srbije. He worked as an electronic government advisor in the Cabinet of the Prime Minister.
The competence of the Office will be the development and functioning of the system of electronic administration and information systems and infrastructure of the public administration and government services, while it will be positioned as a central function in the government that directly responds to the Prime Minister.
At today's meeting, the Decision to form the Council for Innovative Entrepreneurship and Information Technology was adopted, which will be chaired by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic.
Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Mladen Sarcevic and Minister without Portfolio in charge of Innovation and Technological Development Nenad Popovic were appointed as her deputies.
