Djordjevic attends “Slav Brotherhood 2017” exercise in Belarus

Minister of Defence Zoran Djordjevic attended today in Belarus the final activities of the trilateral exercise "Slav brotherhood 2017" and the reception which was organised by Belarusian Defence Minister Andrei Ravkov for the guests of honour.

Djordjevic visited the camp where members of the Serbian Armed Forces who participate in the exercise are staying, and then at the polygon of the 38th guard landing-assault brigade near the city of Brest he followed the resolving of a complicated task of combating with terrorists and releasing hostages, as well as the action of preventing the penetration of terrorists, with night shooting and night parachute jumps of the armed forces of Belarus and Russia and the Special Brigade of the Army of Serbia.
Djordjevic congratulated the participants of the exercises on successfully completed tasks, and added that he is proud of the excellent training of the Serbian Army, which alongside the Belarusian and Russian colleagues have shown that they are ready to execute complex combat missions.

Djordjevic and Ravkov estimated that the exercise "Slav Brotherhood 2017" lived up to expectations and that it is a great modality of cooperation that enables the exchange of experiences among members of elite military units.
