High level of bilateral cooperation with Spain

Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic has been on a one-day working visit to the Kingdom of Spain today, where he met with President of the Congress of Deputies of the Spanish parliament Ana Pastor and Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs Alfonso Dastis.

At the meetings it was jointly agreed that the intergovernmental bilateral cooperation is at a very high level, that there is full compliance in the positions regarding the respect for the principles of international law and territorial integrity of states, and that excellent political relations give impetus to the improved development of economic, educational and cultural cooperation.
During the talks with senior Spanish officials it was estimated that the support of this country to the process of Serbia's European integration is essential to our success on that path.
In his talks with Ana Pastor, Dacic underlined the importance of developing parliamentary cooperation, while during the meeting with Dastis they exchanged opinions on all political, economic, security, bilateral and multilateral issues of importance to both countries.
