The Serbian government adopted at its session today a Bill on citizen's lawyer and forwarded it to the Serbian parliament. Other bills adopted are a Bill on health care, a Bill on chambers of health workers and a Bill on substances used in illegal production of drugs and psychotropic substances.
The government amended the Decree on the use of incentives for the export of agricultural and food products in 2005. Those who export these goods to Bosnia-Herzegovina are excluded from the right to use the incentives because Bosnia-Herzegovina, as a signatory of the free trade agreement with Serbia-Montenegro, has introduced protection measures for the import of agricultural and food products from Serbia and thus broke the procedure.
The government adopted an Information on the need for establishing task forces for negotiations with the European Union on the agreement on stabilisation and association, as well as the Information on the need of realisation of the UN Millennium Development Goals in Serbia.
It was agreed that it is necessary to conclude a donation agreement between the Serbian government, Spain and the Spanish International Cooperation Agency in the project aimed at strengthening the police institutions of Serbia through the renovation of their DNA laboratories.
The government adopted an Information on the need to sign the agreement on providing assistance to refugees and displaced persons from Kosovo-Metohija. The agreement should be signed by the Serbian government and Moscow’s city government, which decided to set aside $2 million for the construction of houses for Serb refugees in the Istok municipality.
The government brought a Decision on the use of 6.5 million dinars from the current budgetary reserve for the financing of the EBRD Annual Meeting and 184.8 million dinars for the construction and renovation of sports facilities.
