Djordjevic and Ravkov noted that the signing of the Agreement on military technical cooperation between the two governments created legal framework for further concretisation of cooperation of the defence industries of the two countries, primarily for the formation and work of a joint commission on military-technical cooperation.
Djordjevic underlined that Serbia, in accordance with its policy of military neutrality, achieves cooperation with NATO within the framework of the Partnership for Peace just as Belarus, with no aspirations for full membership, but at the same time seeks to promote partnership with members of the CSTO, especially with Belarus and Russia.
With the desire that cooperation be raised to a higher level, Serbia takes an active part in the exercise "Unbreakable Brotherhood 2017" to be held in Kazakhstan, Djordjevic confirmed.
He expressed gratitude for the principled support of Belarus to Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as to our efforts to use political means to resolve all outstanding issues in Kosovo-Metohija.
The Minister of Defence attended the opening of the fair of weapons and military equipment MILEX 2017 and visited the stands, according to a statement by the Ministry of Defence.
