Vujovic to attend spring meetings of IMF, World Bank in Washington

Minister of Finance Dusan Vujovic will attend the traditional spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank in Washington that will bring together the world's financial elite.
The governors of central banks, finance ministers and representatives of major financial institutions will gather at the headquarters of the IMF and the World Bank to participate in the meetings, which officially last from 20 to 23 April.
During the event, Vujovic will meet with Deputy Executive Director of the IMF Tao Zhang and Director of the IMF for Europe Paul Thomsen.
He will also speak with Vice President of the World Bank for Europe and Central Asia Cyril Miller, World Bank Country Director for Western Balkans Ellen Goldstein and World Bank Managing Director Werner Gruber, who also represents Serbia in the Board of Directors.
The Minister will have a presentation at the Third International Conference on Taxes, organised by the IMF and the World Bank, and will also participate in the work of the Development Committee of the World Bank, as well as in a round table of ministers and governors of Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe, according to a statement by the Ministry of Finance.
