Government cash prizes important for development, promotion of sports

The Serbian government adopted at its session today a Decision on awarding cash prizes for sporting results to Ivana Spanovic and her coach Goran Obradovic in the amount of €20,000 each, for winning a gold medal at the European Indoor Championship held in Belgrade in Olympic disciplines – athletics, long jump.

The adoption of this decision is very important for the development and promotion of sports and better motivation and preparation of athletes to achieve better results that will contribute to the affirmation of our country and is therefore of great importance and interest for the Republic of Serbia.
