Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica received today Austrian Vice Chancellor and Minister of Transport, Innovation and Technology Hubert Gorbach and said that after obtaining the positive assessment of the feasibility study, new prospects for improvement of economic cooperation of Serbia-Montenegro and Austria are being created.
Kostunica said that Serbia-Montenegro and Austria have friendly relations and very good economic cooperation.
Gorbach said that Austrian investors are very interested in investing in Serbia's telecommunications sector.
The meeting was also attended by Serbian Minister of International Economic Relations Milan Parivodic and a group of Austrian investors who said that they signed an agreement in Vienna on the purchase of the BK Trade company.
Vice Chancellor Gorbach and the Austrian business delegation were informed that there are legal problems concerning Mobtel's ownership structure, and that an arbitration dispute on the ownership shares of the BK Trade company and the state telecommunications company PTT Srbija is being conducted in Zurich.
