The Serbian government has adopted the Information on floods in the Juzna Morava basin, recommending that local authorities submit reports on the damage to the government’s committee on establishing damages in natural disasters.
The government approved 40 million dinars from the current budget reserve towards flood relief in the affected areas.
As part of the session today, the government also passed a decision on setting up the Council for workplace safety and health as well as a decision on giving consent to the establishing limited liability companies Jat-Hoteli Slavija in Belgrade and Jat-Apartmani Kopaonik in Raska.
The government gave consent to the statute of public railway company Zeleznice Srbije and the statute of the federal institution for the maintenance of waterways.
The government also approved 100,000 dinars from the current budget reserve for a two-day trip to Belgrade for 100 children from Kosovo-Metohija.
The government set aside four million dinars towards funding the participation of a Serbia-Montenegrin tennis team in the Davis Cup as well as 146,000 dinars for activities of the Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences.
Also as part of the session, the government adopted a programme for the distribution and use of veterinary subsidies in 2005 as well as the Information on the need for signing an agreement with Croatia on sustainable management of cross-border waters in the Danube basin.
