The Serbian government held a third thematic session with representatives of the World Bank, attended by Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport.
Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic thanked the representatives of the World Bank for its continued assistance to the Serbian government in achieving its priority objectives and pointed out that the task of every member of the government is to jointly make efforts to achieve the goals set as soon as possible.
World Bank Regional Director for South East Europe Ellen Goldstein praised the work of the Serbian government and pointed out that positive changes in the last few years are evident, primarily in the economy, but also in the improved image that Serbia now has the world.
Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport said that the EU will give Serbia all the necessary assistance on its path to the EU.
Prime Minister Vucic said that his vision is that this government be remembered as a government that has revived Serbia economically and initiated its progress.
Guests at today's meeting were the consultants of the World Bank William Isaacs and Ray Shostak, with whom short-term goals were established and dynamics of application of strategies for all four teams.
