Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic expressed satisfaction that the cabinet meeting is held in Nis, and expressed gratitude to Regional Director for Southeast Europe Ellen Goldstein, Head of the World Bank Office in Serbia Tony Verheijen, and Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport on assistance provided to the government of Serbia.
Vucic expressed his desire for Serbia to become a modern, economically successful country with satisfied citizens.
He pointed out that the government has so far achieved good results, but it is necessary to constantly work on the strategic goals and to achieve them in the best way.
Regional Director of the World Bank Ellen Goldstein said she is honoured to have the opportunity to cooperate with the cabinet of Prime Minister Vucic and is impressed by the results that the government has so far achieved.
Goldstein said that the World Bank will provide every assistance to the government of Serbia.
The guests at today's meeting were the consultants of the World Bank, William Isaacs and Ray Shostak, who shared their experience in the field of strategic planning and the creation of effective teams.
