Boosting military economic cooperation with Azerbaijan

Minister of Defence Zoran Djordjevic attended today in Baku the opening of the International Defence Exhibition ADEX 2016, after which he visited the stand of Defence Industry of Serbia.

After the opening of the fair, Djordjevic met with Azerbaijani Defence Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov to discuss possibilities for improving cooperation between the two countries in the field of defence.
Djordjevic and Hasanov agreed that good relations between Serbia and Azerbaijan, in particular the Declaration on friendly relations and strategic partnership signed in 2013, provides a strong incentive for the development of defence cooperation in all fields of mutual interest.
The two officials agreed that the best segment of cooperation between the two countries at the moment is military-economic cooperation.
