He highlighted the praise that Serbia received from UNICEF as a shining example on the entire migrant route, particularly when it comes to attitude towards migrants.
The State Secretary recalled that in cooperation with the government of Switzerland, the accommodation capacities for unaccompanied migrant minors are being expanded in Subotica, Nis and Belgrade.
Deputy Representative of UNICEF in Serbia Severine Leonardi said that this organisation, along with the regional office in Geneva, wants to see how it can help Serbia to deal with the refugee and migrant crisis.
Leonardi added that 30 per cent of the migrant population in Serbia are children, stating that this organisation will take care of their needs, reads a statement by the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs.
