Udovicic said that this project, which will be carried out in collaboration with the government of Serbia, is important because 3,500 young entrepreneurs will be trained, 1,000 businesses will be supported and 600 best entrepreneurial ideas will be financed.
Most importantly, that will create 3,000-6,000 new jobs, he said.
He expressed gratitude to the representatives of UNIDO on the great cooperation for recognising these topics, which are very important for the development of our society, as well as their willingness to help.
The Minister stressed that his main task is to create better conditions for young people, to motivate them to stay and work in Serbia.
Bearing in mind the urgent problem of youth and women’s unemployment, the Ministry of Youth and Sport in 2015 established cooperation with UNIDO to provide technical support to strengthen the capacity of young people and women through specialised training on entrepreneurship and skills development.
