Search for Serbian national kidnapped in Libya

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today that intensive search for Serbian national Miroslav Tomic, who was kidnapped on 24 April in Libya.
The statement said that a representative of the German company Ferrostaal informed yesterday the Serbian Embassy in Tripoli that Tomic, who heads the project for the company, was kidnapped in southeast Libya, 1,200 kilometres from Tripoli.
Tomic was kidnapped during his regular work activities, during a tour of the complex company. He was taken out from the car to an unknown destination.
There are indications that Miroslav Tomic has been freed, but the information is not confirmed, the statement added.
