Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic spoke today with a delegation of company AFI Europe, led by CEO Avraham Barzilay, about the realisation of the project in the Kneza Milosa Street in Belgrade.
AFI Europe plans to invest in the construciton of a multi-purpose commercial facility on the site of the former building of the Federal Ministry of the Interior.
Mihajlovic on this occasion said that the Serbian government is always ready to support big projects, and help realise as soon as possible the investments that will create new jobs.
She recalled that last year the time of issuing building permits was shortened to a maximum of 28 days, and that from 1 January 2016, building permits may be issued
electronically.
In order to speed up to the maximum the administraive procedures related to legal, property and other issues in relation to a project, the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure will form a working group composed of representatives of the Ministry, the City of Belgrade and company AFI Europe, which is known to its domestic public by the construction of the business park "Airport City" in New Belgrade, reads a statement from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure.
