After the meeting that was held at the Djerdap 1 border crossing, Stefanovic pointed to the importance of such patrols in combating tobacco and drug smuggling.
He underlined that there are no misunderstandings between Serbia and Romania when it comes to the migrant crisis, and both countries are committed to cooperation in an effort to find a common, European solution to the problem.
Toba noted that police cooperation between Serbia and Romania is good, and suggest to Stefanovic holding a trilateral meeting of the ministers of Serbia, Romania and Hungary to discuss current issues, first of all the illegal migration.
