Joksimovic said that Serbia appreciates support of Slovenia both at the political and at expert level, not only through the support of EU institutions, but also by supporting the negotiation process through various forms of expert assistance.
Joksimovic expressed hope that chapters 23 and 24 will be opened during the Dutch presidency of the Council of the EU and reiterated that elections will not slow down the pace of European integration.
Bencina underlined that Slovenia has positively assessed the progress made by Serbia in the reform process and in preparations for the opening of the above-mentioned chapters.
