Ireland strongly supports European integration of Serbia

Minister without portfolio responsible for European integration Jadranka Joksimovic informed today Director General of the Europe Division at the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Owen O’Leary about the pace of negotiations with the EU and the Serbian negotiation structure.
Joksimovic expressed gratitude to Ireland on the support it gives Serbia on its European path and on the enalrgement policy which this state advocates.
She underlined that in the European integration process Serbia is not looking for concessions, but is rather focused on fulfilling criteria, which will result in harmionisation with the EU acquis and its standards and values.
