For less than two years, the Serbian government has succeeded in preventing a collapse of public finances, pulling the country out of recession with difficult economic reforms, and opening the first chapters in EU entry talks, according to Vucic.
Today, Serbia is a stable country in political and economic terms with clear prospects for further progress, reads the reasoning behind the proposal.
This being just the first phase, the government believes a new force of united Serbia with a clear mandate is needed to complete the reforms and bring the country to the entrance door of the European family of peoples, reads the Prime Minister’s proposal.
