Considerable progress in economic relations of Serbia, United States

Minister of Economy Zeljko Sertic spoke today with US Ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott about further improvement of economic relations between the two countries, the “Year of Entrepreneurship” project and possibilities for US investments in Serbia.
Sertic expressed gratitude to Scott for the aid the United States provided to the Ministry of Justice in the development of entrepreneurship and development of institutional and legal frameworks in the field of the economy.
The Minister pointed out that Serbia has always had support of the US Embassy when it comes to investments, and voiced hope that this cooperation will continue.
Sertic and Scott noted that a significant progress has been achieved in economic relations between the two countries, which is a result of great reforms Serbia has implemented over the past two years.
Scott said that precisely for that reason he is pointing out to investors from the United States that Serbia is a very good investment destination, reads a statement by the Ministry of Economy.
