Acting Police Director Vladimir Rebic said that the police directors of Serbia, Croatia, Austria, Macedonia and Slovenia in Zagreb today signed a protocol on cooperation, which envisages stronger control of migrants.
Rebic explained that profilation of migrants will start tomorrow on the Greek-Macedonian border, which includes stricter control to prevent illegal migration.
A new form with a photograph will be issued on the Greek-Macedonian border, which means easier movement of migrants through all the countries of the Balkan route, he said.
According to Rebic, this will prevent possible abuse in their movement, but also significant return of migrants, and will also significantly save human and material resources of the police, according to a statement by the Ministry of the Interior.
