High level of cooperation between Interior Ministry, ICITAP programme

Minister of the Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic spoke today with Deputy Assistant Director for Europe of ICITAP programme of the US Department of Justice Stephen Fields about further promotion of cooperation.

Stefanovic and Fields talked about cooperation in the field of training of police officers, improving the work of the central psychological services, as well as about the assistance which this organisation can provide the Republic of Serbia in the migrant crisis.
The two officials agreed that the level of cooperation between the Serbian Ministry of the Interior and ICITAP programme is high, and it involves training in criminal investigations and other areas of importance for a more efficient work of police officers, reads a statement by the Serbian Ministry of the Interior.
