Stefanovic and Bozay agreed that the police attaché, who has been dispatched to the Turkish Embassy to Sebria for a one-year period, will contribute to the improvement of already good cooperation of the two ministries in solving the migrant crisis, and in the fight against all forms of organised crime, with the emphasis on terrorism and drug trafficking.
Bearing in mind the current migrant crisis, the exchange of information in this field will be of great importance for Serbia and the Ministry of the Interior, the Minister underlined and noted that the Serbian police have very good cooperation with other countries in the Western Balkan region which is facing challenges of the migrant crisis.
Stefanovic and Bozaj expressed satisfaction with the advancement of cooperation of Serbia and Turkey, especially in the economic field, and underlined that there is room for even better cooperation, according to a statement by the Ministry of the Interior.
