Stefanovic pointed to the need of establishing a single quality system for taking biometric data of migrants instead of every country entering that process individually.
During the meeting it was agreed that cooperation among the countries on the Balkan migrant route is good, but that it needs to be improved and strengthened, in which Norway would help, according to Bjornstad.
Stefanovic expressed gratitude to Bjornstad for the support which Norway has given Serbia through various projects for strengthening the capacity of the Ministry of the Interior.
The two officials concluded that it is necessary to improve police cooperation between the two countries in the fight against organised crime, cybercrime and the fight against terrorism and drug trafficking, according to a statement by the Ministry of the Interior.
