Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Aleksandar Vulin spoke today with Japanese Ambassador to Serbia Juichi Takahara, who expressed satisfaction with the successful cooperation of the two countries and a wish for its improvement in all areas.

Vulin thanked Tahakara for the support Japan has sent Serbia, not only for tackling the current migrant crisis, but also for the clean-up of floods, and in other areas too, particularly in the field of social protection.
Tahakara said that the Japanese government wants to continue helping Serbia in 2016.
The Japanese government donated $4.7 million to Serbia and Macedonia through international organisations to help these two countries tackle the migrant crisis.
Also, an additional $4.575 million have been approved to Serbia, reads a statement by the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs.
