Veljovic relieved from duty of police director

The Serbian government in its session today relieved of duty Milorad Veljovic, who, under the Law on Police, met the criteria for retirement.
The government appointed Vladimir Rebic as acting police director.
On 1 January 2016, Veljovic will take the office of the advisor to the Serbian prime minister for regional and national security issues.
The Serbian government also adopted amendments to the decision on location permits allowing for issuance of e-construction permits as of 1 January 2016.
