Minister of the Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic received today 20 members of the Border Police, who will be sent to the Republic of Macedonia to assist the Macedonian police in securing the border.
Stefanovic said that the police officers will be part of mixed patrols operating on the Macedonian-Greek border next month, in accordance with the Convention on Police Cooperation in Southeast Europe.
He also wished the police members to have good cooperation with colleagues and successful operation, bearing in mind that the Macedonian-Greek border is part of the route burdened by the largest number of migrants coming into our country.
