Albanian Ambassador refuses to accept protest note from Serbia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated last night that Albanian Ambassador to Serbia Ilir Bocka refused to respond to the call of this Ministry and accept the protest note from the Republic of Serbia.
Contrary to diplomatic rules and practice, after instructions from Tirana, Bocka refused to respond to the call of the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs after a grave incident and attack on the Serbian national football team, with the explanation that “nothing happened“.
Due to such an inappropriate action of the Albanian Ambassador, the Ministry will take relevant measures in accordance with diplomatic practice.
