Protest note to Albania over attack on Serbian football players in Tirana

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that tonight it urgently called Ambassador of the Republic of Albania in Serbia Ilir Bocka to hand him over a note of protest regarding the severe incident and the attack on the Serbian national football team in Tirana.
Despite the fact that it was a match of high risk, the incident testifies to serious flaws of the appropriate authorities of the Republic of Albania in the organisation of this football game.
The Republic of Serbia expects and demands that the Serbian football team is provided a completely safe further stay in Albania and the unimpeded playing of the match.
The Republic of Serbia expects that the perpetrators of this incident will be found as soon as possible and punished appropriately, it is added in the statement.
